Venezuelan Society of Numerical Methods in Engineering (SVMNI)

The Venezuelan Society of Numerical Methods in Engineering (SVMNI), is integrated by a group of scientific high level and recognized researchers, having experience in education, investigation and execution of projects dedicated to the world of the engineers.
Our reason of being, is to satisfy a specific group of professionals and students that have the necessity to approach with accuracy and efficiency problems which description is made by more and more sophisticated mathematical models.

The SVMNI has the following objectives:

  • To diffuse the science and the investigation in engineering in Venezuela.
  • To promote the use of modern technologies and techniques in analysis in Venezuela.
  • To create an appropriate international forum for the investigators and engineers.

The SVMNI, has assumed the challenge of carrying out activities guided to promote and to diffuse the knowledge in the area of the numerical methods. Likewise, CIMENICS is an unique event in its style in Venezuela, and few those of its style that are organized in Latin America and the rest of the world. Their national and international lectures and the assistants give faith of the growing success that has had CIMENICS during its 21 years of existence with 12 biannual congresses. Along this time we have had the institutional support of different universities of the country.
